For any players in the Cobh area, there will be a meeting this tuesday. Time and venue to be confirmed, but likely around 20:00 either in Cobh or out past Ballymore. The plan is to try out this time for 2-3 weeks and if people turn up, continue on a permanent basis.

online go trivia
If you ever wondered what the connection between DGS and Little Golem was, there is an interesting bit of Go trivia provided by the now defunct Turn-based Go Guild.
site updates
There have been a few minor edits to the site; most notably the FAQ, which now actually has some content, but the observant reader will also have spotted a few new links in the side-bar. Still more updates due, so if there’s something you’d like to see here, or that you think should be changed or moved, feel free to post a comment.
Irish Go Open 2007
No reports back froim local players yet. Might have something here after the next regular meeting. Stay tuned…
Irish Go Congress
As I’m sure anyone reading this already knows, the annual Irish Go Congress is on in Dublin next weekend, 9th-11th Mar. (In case it slipped by someone, details can be found at the IGA site.)
As many of the Cork players will be in attendance, the regular local sessions won’t be running. Given that St Patrick’s is the following weekend, I imagine that things will probably not resume until the weekend after that. So enjoy the break, or use it to study up and crush your rivals upon your return ;) There’ll be a reminder sent out to the mailing list before meetings resume.
Good luck to those who are traveling to Dublin to compete! Hopefully someone will think to keep a few game records this year…
