UCC Go: There has been a change in our Sunday meetings – from now on we will be meeting in the Marlboro 32 pub (on Marlboro street obviously). They’re still be on from 4PM on as that’s when the pub opens! It’s a nice and quiet place on a Sunday afternoon.

Also, only one week until the tournament!

IGA: The previously announced IGA EGM will be held on Jan 26th, during the weekend of the Top 8 Kick-Off.

NUIG Go: November’s issue of Knight’s Atari is now online.

IGoLocal: Too late to be considered news, but it seems igolocal.net will not be making a return. The sidebar link to the right has been removed.

Posted tonight on the IGA site…

Given the very low turnout at the AGM, it was judged to be inquorate. There will now be an EGM instead, to which more of us will hopefully attend! As a reminder, the IGA is your organisation, and you should take an interest in how it is run.

Provisionally planned for November 7th, full details of the EGM will appear here soon.

The IGA have announced the date for this year’s AGM. All interested players are invited to attend.

As already announced on the newsgroup, the AGM will take place this year on Wednesday 5th October, at Larry Murphy’s at 8.30pm. As of now, the agenda is very short, so there should be plenty of time for amusement after the meeting. If you care about how Go is run in your country, please turn up!
